TOWN OF BRACEBRIDGE DOG TAGS

Muskoka Animal Centre wish list: Donations of the following items would greatly appreciated!
Compost containers ( green bins on wheels) available at Canadian tire. These are perfect for animal food storage, laundry etc so we will need several of them.
Newspapers ( remove flyers and inserts) great for lining our cat cages with!
Laundry detergent ( High Efficiency)
Fabric Softener ( sheets)
Canadian Tire Money

For the Dogs:
Kongs/ Kong Wobblers/ Tricky treat balls: to help keep our shelter dogs stimulated and occupied.
Kong stuffers: such as smooth peanut butter, cheese wiz, along with a variety of dog treats.
Any other sturdy interactive toys.
Dog food both canned and dry for adults and puppies. ( no open bags please)
Medium size Gentle Leaders: to help us teach shelter dogs good leash manners( available at your veterinary clinic)

For the Cats:
Cat litter both regular and clumping
Cat food both canned and dry for kittens and adults ( no open bags please)
Cat toys
Stuffed animals to cuddle up with.
Sisal scratching posts
Cat beds
Icy/hot packs
Chicken baby food ( in a jar)
vaporizer

Every single day animals arrive at the Ontario SPCA Muskoka Branch needing our help. We feed, exercise, bathe, socialize, play with and provide comfort to these abused, neglected and abandoned animals. We drive the wounded and sick to the veterinarian, change bandages, administer medications and monitor their recovery - with the goal of finding each animal a loving home.

Last year hundreds of animals were adopted from the Muskoka Branch adoption centre including cats and dogs of all ages, shapes, sizes and breeds, as well as birds, rabbits, guinea pigs and more!

We invite you to drop by the shelter during adoption hours to visit the animals - and to meet our friendly staff. Our shelter is small, cozy and welcoming! You can also browse our site and view our adoptable animals online.
